To the cutest couple ever.

With all of the recent craziness, it might be easy to forget--like I almost did--that today is the 31st wedding anniversary of a fantastic couple. That's right--on November 28, 1975, my adorable parents tied the knot. Here are some of my favorite shots of the happy couple (ah, if only I could have gotten my hands on their oh-so-70s nuptial photos):





Happy Anniversary, you crazy kids! You are incredible parents and even more incredible people, and you never cease to amaze me with your resilience, supportiveness, sense of humor, and love for each other. If anyone out there wants a lesson in what marriage is supposed to be, go hang out with these folks--you'll get it right away.

I love you very much, and I hope you enjoy your special day!

    Now I know what your dad looks like, and it makes me feel shame for his reading my blog of horrors. It's like he's looking me in the eye and saying, "Whore! Don't be friends with my BJ! Or the other one!"

    Cookie: Haha, I can see how you'd think that! My mom and I look a lot alike, but what really confuses people is that we SOUND almost exactly alike.
